U.S. STOCK PREVIEW Monday, June 10th, 2013



This week’s U.S. economic schedule is very light until later in the week. Thursday brings initial unemployment claims (expected -1,000 to 345,000) and May retail sales (expected +0.4% headline and +0.3% ex-autos). Friday brings the May PPI (expected +1.4% y/y vs +0.6% y/y in April), Q1 current account deficit (expected slightly wider at -$112.4 billion vs -$110.4 billion in Q4), May industrial production (expected +0.2% after April’s -0.5%), and early-June U.S. consumer confidence index (expected unch at 84.5). The Treasury on Tuesday through Thursday will sell $66 billion in 3-year, 10-year, and 30-year securities.
There is one earnings report today from the Russell 1000 companies today: Navistar (consensus -$1.20).
