• Crude oil prices rose 50 cents to settle at $95.88 a barrel on the
NYMEX.
• US crude oil inventories rose 2.5mn barrels to 393.8mn barrels for
the week ended June 7.
• US Energy Information Administration says global oil demand is
seen growing by 900,000 barrels
per day in 2013 and by 1.2 mn bpd in 2014.
• Gold prices ended higher due to fall in the equities and weaker
dollar.
