The
major indices of the Indian stock markets suffered a further correction on
Monday. On the NSE, there were 273 advances, 1,526 declines and 276 unchanged.
The trends of the major indices in the course of Monday’s trading are given in
the table below:
The
S&P BSE Sensex lost nearly 600 points during the afternoon session on
Monday, with selling activity in banking, finance and auto stocks.
Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 was down over 180 points at one time.
Ramco
Systems won an order for Ramco Aviation Suite from multidisciplinary technology
services provider- Advanced Global Resources, to track and manage inventory in
real-time, ensuring auditability and accountability for their asset management
responsibilities to the US Army. Ramco Systems shares closed at Rs330.00, up
1.06% on the NSE.
Generic
Engineering has been awarded multiple orders to the tune of Rs273.92 crore from
real estate developers and one from India’s leading defence PSU (public sector
undertakings). It has received a single order of Rs215 crore from a real estate
developer for a total built up area of 8 lakh sq.ft. Generic Engineering
Construction and Projects shares closed at Rs178.00, down 3.97% on the BSE.
L&T
Technology Services has won a 5-year Engineering Content Management (ECM) deal
worth US$ 40 million in Europe. LTI to provide AI & Virtual Reality based
ECM solutions in the Industrial Products space. The shares of the company
closed at Rs1,660.40, down 0.24% on the NSE.
Godrej
Properties adds a new luxury residential project in Noida, in the centrally
located Sector 43. GPL will develop this project in partnership with the Shipra
Group. This premium housing project will offer 2.2 million sq. ft. (approx.) of
saleable area. The shares of the company closed at Rs565.10, down 1.70% on the
NSE.
Pennar
Industries bagged orders worth Rs181 crore across its businesses. It has
secured orders worth Rs131 crore from customers including Thermax, Mahindra,
L&T, Endurance Technologies and Yamaha India. Pennar Engineered Building
Systems has won orders worth Rs50 crore. Pennar Industries shares closed at
Rs41.20, down 0.72% on the NSE.
Adlabs
Entertainment has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Riverbay group, to
develop, operate and maintain a new entertainment park in Amaravathi, Andhra
Pradesh. Adlabs will provide its expertise and IP to develop the new park,
while the capital will be contributed by Riverbay. Adlabs Entertainment shares
closed at Rs27.75, down 6.25% on the BSE.
Vakrangee
has entered into a distribution agreement with Aditya Birla Housing Finance,
which shall offer distribution of Home Loan and other related products through
Nextgen Vakrangee Kendras. Vakrangee shares closed at Rs32.30, down 9.78% on
the BSE.
Zensar
Technologies has been chosen by Ruffer, a leading UK investment management
company to manage its end-to-end infrastructure requirements. Zensar will
partner with Ruffer to build a responsive, market-ready and customer centric
service IT (information technology) framework. Zensar Technologies shares closed
at Rs270.95, down 2.15% on the BSE.
